Villa Bluewhite

The BlueWhite Villa was an extraordinary haven for us. You enter the gates, they close behind you, and you are in a private world of olive trees, sea and mountain views, long, cool swimming pool, outdoor kitchen and grill! with a lovely, spacious, light-filled villa in the center. Our two weeks here were a magical experience.

We loved our stay at Villa BlueWhite. Built with such eye for detail, beauty and comfort, it offers all you can possibly wish for. The pool is perfect for lapswimming. The outdoor seating for breakfast, lunch, lounging, drinks, and evening dinner by the outdoor kitchen tempted us to "stay at home" rather than go out. The beach is within walking distance. To summarize, provided you spend your time at the villa with loved ones, your stay will be close to perfection.

A beautiful villa with many home features with great instrumentations for the best use of the equipment. However it would have been good to have been made aware of major building work directly in front of the property. Loud banging from 07:30 in the morning Monday to Friday was a surprise and the last Wednesday had 7 cement lorries queuing up with persistent noise forcing us out of the property for the day.
Also for a high end quality villa the electricity allowance did not cover basic fan and use of dishwasher and lights.
I understand the need to be environmentally efficient but I would prefer not to feel as if I was in a student coin operated meter. I applaud the careful use of electric energy but would suggest a higher threshold.

We are deeply sorry about the noise. Good news is that there are no more buildable plots near by and the villa under construction will be finished during winter. As for the electricity the included kwh cover all basic functions such as lights, garden lighting in the evening, dishwasher, washing machine, 2 pool pumps, all water pumps and fans.
(The average running of the house without cooling consume 20,88 kwh a day. 40 kwh per day include all the basic and also some cooling.)

Beautiful home, property and view!! Perfect stay for a family vacation due to comfort, activities on site (pool, tennis, bocce), walking to restaurants, etc.

Excellent. Villaen hadde alt vår familie behøvd for ei ferieuke sammen. Senger, gode baderom, møbler, utstyr på kjøkken ute og inne. Trivsels arenaer. Mange moderne praktiske løsninger.Svømmebassenget ble mye brukt av store og små. Det var for dypt for alle å stå der, men det var så smalt at det ble veldig greit å passe ungene som brukte det mye. I tillegg et godt svømmebasseng fordi det var langt.

We had a fantastic week in most beautiful house with a spectacular view. The house is perfect for a family vacation, with an outdoor kitchen and every facility you can ask for. The communication with the owner and the local representative was extremely friendly and helpful. We would love to come back.

This property is an absolute gem.
The level of thought and detail that have gone into the design, facilities and user experience is first class.
All essential basics down to hand soap, shower gel, salt and pepper, bin liners, ice maker are already there......it helps just take the pressure off.
10 mins walk from Plaka with a selection of restaurants, tavernas and a well stocked supermarket means everything is on hand.
A perfect summer kitchen and seating areas to relax in with a drink & nibbles after a hard days sunbathing.
You will not be disappointed with this villa (& an easy drive from the airport - circa 40 mins)

Both properties are beautiful and we had a fantastic stay. Would definitely recommend hiring a car as a very hilly walk to the nearest village for bars, restaurants and shops. And some sort of issue with air conditioning which meant the floor of one bedroom often wet. This didn't affect our enjoyment however.

We had a lovely stay at Bluewhite Villa, the outdoor space is spectacular, the views are amazing. The owners provide great information on the house and the surrounding area to make the stay run smoothly. It is a great house for large families, each bedroom is a good size with the privacy of their own bathrooms. I’m sure we will be back again someday!

En negativ kommentar er gartnerarbeidene. Gartner utførte et veldig enkelt vedlikehold og vanning, det må bli bedre.

Fantastisk sted med alle fasiliteter - vi var der med storfamilien og koste oss veldig. Topp service og vennlighet fra utleier som kunne nåes nesten til alle døgnets tider. Hyggelig mottakelse fra eiers representant når vi kom. Alt i alt en utrolig fin ferie - takk for oss

Villa Bluewhite è la proprietà perfetta!
Piscina privata a sfioro sulla baia sottostante, campo da tennis ( racchette e palline fornite) , campo da bocce, orto con prodotti a disposizione degli ospiti e cucina attrezzata esterna.
Gli interni sono curati e moderni, si vede l'attenzione ai dettagli dei proprietari. La cucina è veramente ben equipaggiata.
Le camere sono dotate di tutti i comfort, abbiamo apprezzato in particolar modo la qualità della biancheria e la pulizia degli ambienti.
La posizione permette di raggiungere Almyrida e la spiaggia in pochi minuti.
Non vediamo l'ora di tornare.

Villa Bluewhite in Pláka was such a lovely destination to stay. The comfort of the modern huge villa is really breath taking. The view from all rooms and terraces was marvellous. All was very clean, and the cleaning lady came regularly and was of great help when we had any question. Everything in the kitchen you need, even in outside kitchen. very modern and stylish bathroom Very huge infinity pool 818m length) , perfect for swimming. Not suitable for small children as to deep We would love to enjoy again a stay there. The property owner/agency had send us a very friendly, perfect English speaking lady who explained everything in detail in the beginning as a welcome. She even gave some tips for sites and restaurants to see

Beautiful villa with many details. Pool, tennis court, boccia was used by us daily. Very good restaurants within walking distance (in Plaka).

The villa was everything we had hoped for ! We used all the outdoor spaces especially the pool, tennis court and boules pitch, we were an inter-generational family group and really appreciated having lots of activities for teenagers on site. We also used the in the very instructive handbook to find the small beaches near to the house to swim and snorkel in. The villa itself was very well equipped, very tastefully done out and the teenage annex was a god send! Only 2 queries - maybe bathmats in the bathrooms, slippy floors can be a little bit dangerous for the old and the young and we wondered if a credit card could be used for the deposit rather than cash.
We adored the villa, the village and the local beaches - ideally located, of a very high standard and we would to visit again.
Also Maria and the cleaning staff were lovely! A wonderful place and a wonderful holiday!

Amazing

I recently had occasion to be a four-night guest at the Blue White Villa as part of a six-member extended family group. We all stayed in the main building. The property is beautiful and immaculate. The views were amazing. The beds comfortable and bathrooms great and we particularly loved the outdoor area with the lounge chairs and lanai. The ice machine was welcome. Although I personally loved the pool, it needs to be pointed out to future guests that the pool is neither child nor elderly friendly. The entire pool’s depth of over six feet or so offers no place to stand up while in the pool and the only entrance or exit is through jumping in or climbing in and out by the ladder at the side. Fortunately, my son-in-law had thought to bring a little inner tube for my six-year-old granddaughter, so we didn’t need to go shop for swim safety items.

On the negatives to point out, they should be easy to fix. Two of our group are long time hoteliers.
Our arrival was after a long day of two ferries, then a car rental, and finally a 2 hour plus drive to
the property. Thanks to GPS we arrived and were met by the agent who took us through the
property. We did, however find the entire experience as a guest expecting a warm and hospitable welcome, as cold and lacking. The kitchen was entirely bare. Not even one or two bottles of water or a few pieces of fruit as it shows in your advertising. We had to wait to drive the next morning to get breakfast and shop at the grocery store. Then there were no amenities in any of the bathrooms such as bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

The other issue is the large cash Euro deposit which is very inconvenient to people outside the EU.
I had to go to my bank, pay to exchange for the euros, then carry this cash a week. After checking out it was the euros to carry back to the States and then go back to my bank again and pay to have them changed back to dollars. For certain a credit card deposit or smaller amount of deposit is more convenient.

So, although I would certainly recommend your property to future guests, it would be important they know what to expect.

Saying “fascinating” - is to less by far.

It was an such a stunning and breathtaking moment to arrive at the villa, to see the beautiful property with this spectacular view. Standing on the terrasse and looking around made me and all others of the group speechless. Everything is perfect designed and arranged, both outside and inside and corresponds absolutely to my taste and looks like the pictures on the web page.

A special thanks to Maria who welcomed us so wonderfully in the villa and of course to Lona (even if she had to say goodbye to us) it was a very pleasant cooperation.

I will keep the impressions in good memory and hopefully one day I will be able to return again to this wonderful place.
