Between Pisa and Lucca, in the heart of Tuscany, Villa De Ranieri is an exquisite luxury villa built in the 17th century and filled with beautiful, very comfortable furnishings.
A dream swimming pool is surrounded by a sensational green set made of hills, mounts and expansive private gardens meticulously looked after and garnished with olive tree groves.

This 5 star luxuries house is designed to live in comfort and gracious elegance; privacy is a major feature here, even if that doesn’t mean isolation from the many touristic attractions like Lucca historical centre (only 10 minute from the Villa) or like the famous Versilian beaches (only half an hour from there).

Household Amenities:
In the kitchen you will find two electric wall ovens, gas stove with 8 burners, two fridges, a freezer, two toasters, a coffee machine, a dishwasher, a microwave, a blender and kitchenware for about 20 people.
The Villa is also equipped with a laundry room with washer, iron and board. Every bath has its air-dryer.
There are screens on many of the windows and mosquito nets in the master bedroom and in the Library/sitting-room.
Daily housekeeping service is included (with the exception of half Sunday and Wednesday all day).
The domestic staff, besides cleaning the house, can also prepare you breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Outside Features:
There is an outside dining table convenient to the kitchen. In front of the house you will find an enormous garden (about 10.000 sqmt) with a gazebo midway to the pool. The pool measures 46’ x 20’ (depth about 2 ft ) and is perfectly situated to offer a sunny side and a shady side.
Also at poolside are sun beds, tables, umbrellas and a bathing-hut with a shower (where hot water is directly generated from solar energy). The pool is treated with very low percentages of chlorine.
Many terracotta pots full of flowers decorate the landscape and there is a sensational mountain set behind the garden with beautiful olive tree groves.
Private parking is available for many cars.

3 Golf courses at 40 minutes in Montecatini, Forte dei Marmi, Tirrenia (Pisa).

Other Features:
Please note that the housekeeper has an apartment on the lowest level of this house. Also behind the electric gates there are two other buildings. The first one belongs to a relative who seldom visits the house and the second house, which is actually nearer the main house, has always been used for lemon tree storage and as a cantina for the wine.

Location/Where to go:
The Villa is distant only 10 minutes from Pisa and 5 minutes from Lucca and from the motorway’s entrance which leads to Florence (75 kms), to the Versilian Coast (20 km to Viareggio beach, 28 km to Forte dei Marmi) and to many other important Tuscan cities. The airport of Pisa is at about 20 kms; 2 km to the nearest village for grocery shopping; 2 km to Bar, coffee shop, restaurant, pizzeria; 5 km to Supermarket; 4 km to tennis court and even less time to horseback riding; 3 Golf courses at 40 minutes in Montecatini, Forte dei Marmi, Tirrenia (Pisa); also nearby are the elegant “Terme di San Giuliano” for spa treatments and thermal waters.
You can also ask for custom made tours to major places in Tuscany (in Chianti and in Lucca to visit wineries, for wine tasting, for lunch/dinners). Tours to the famous 5 Terre, to Portofino, to Puccini Opera Festival at Puccini Lake; Concerts almost every night in S. Giovanni church in Lucca; monthly antique market on every third week end; Major outlet (Prada, D & G, Gucci) within one hour; Ferrari Gallery in Maranello Modena (two hours), etc.

Descripción Interior

Beds and Baths:
On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms: the first one has a four-poster queen size bed with an en suite bathroom and the second one, called “first master room”, has a queen size bed with en suite bathroom equipped with a shower box, and TV sat with Sky.
Upstairs there is a twin bedroom (the beds cannot be made as one big bed due to the antique frames) with an en suite bathroom. Further down a passageway there is a small queen bedroom with an en suite bathroom to be eventually shared with a little dressing room connected to it and that can be converted into a single bedroom on request and to be paid on the spot.
The last double bedroom is considered the “second master room” with big windows overlooking the extensive grounds. There is an en suite bathroom plus a TV sat with Sky. All the bathrooms with a tub are being adapted into baths with box handled showers for the booking season.

Living Space:
The very elegant reception hall communicates with two large and cozy living-rooms oozing with character and charm. Beyond one of those there is a luxurious dining room with a 10/12-people table. The first two bedrooms and two bathrooms are on this floor of the house.
On a lower floor (that corresponds to the other side entrance of the Villa), there is a bespoke Tuscan very well-equipped kitchen with a huge marble top table and just beyond it, a breakfast room. In the kitchen you will find two electric wall ovens, gas stove with 8 burners, two fridges, a freezer, two toasters, a coffee machine, a dishwasher, a microwave, a blender and kitchenware for about 20 people.
Upstairs, on first floor, there is a lovely library with a working fireplace and TV with satellite and SKY, fax, DVD/CD player and a minibar. There, you can easily connect your laptop to internet, thanks to the wireless internet connection. Also on this floor is a central living room with two terraces and a panoramic view on both sides of the garden. Beyond it, there is a huge wardrobe room if you wish to rid your bedroom of luggage.
