Villa Romantic Sevi

We enjoyed this beautiful villa in a stunning location with a wonderful owner. We already miss it!

We had a wonderful relaxing week in the sunshine at Villa Romantic Sevi. From the warm welcome when we arrived, to the standard of the villa itself, everything was great! It is situated in a small village, so a car is essential, but we had nor trouble following the directions provided. The kitchen was well equipped and some basic supplies were provided including herbal tea, coffee, sugar, salt, butter, milk, ham, cheese, juice, bread and and fresh fruit. The villa was extremely clean and comfortable and the pool area was spacious with a lovely view of the hills and sea. We found some lovely local tavernas to eat at including Waves on the Rock in Ravdoucha and Porfira in Nopigeia - both of them right on the sea shore. There is a decent supermarket in nearby Kolymbari for all the essentials and a Lidl not too far away in Platanias. The local cat family adopted us as their own while we were there which was brilliant for us as cat lovers . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone.

We stayed at this property for a month and had a wonderful experience. The home was perfect for two people and is exactly as advertised. Wonderful location and beautiful property, we would absolutely recommend for anyone traveling to Crete!

Das Haus und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Lage etwas abgelegen in einem kleinen Dorf, für eine ruhige Auszeit zu zweit optimal. Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung sind sehr gut. Die Terrasse ist schattig überdacht mit einer schönen Anlage und Zitronenbäumen. In ständiger Begleitung sind wilde Katzen, die nach Nahrung betteln. Supermarkt und das Meer sind einige km entfernt, mit dem Auto in 10min erreichbar. Ebenso (Auto) kleine Tavernen mit gutem Essen (frische Meeresfrüchte) und bezahlbaren Preisen. Nachbargrundstück ist verwildert mit Bauruine. Das Meer ist als kleiner Ausschnitt in einigen km zu sehen.

We had a fabulous holiday here and would recommend to couples looking for a restful break. The villa is clean and well equipped. The owner is friendly and helpful. He emailed to arrange to meet us at the villa and gave some excellent directions so we were able to find it easily in the dark. When we arrived the fridge had been thoughtfully packed with water, milk, bread and butter, cheese, ham and some fruit and the owner gave us some of his delicious homegrown tomatoes during our stay.

The decor and furniture in the villa was to a high standard and the pool is larger than it looks on website pictures. The village of Kolimbari is a 10 minute drive with supermarket, beach front, restaurants and bars. Beaches at Falarnassa and Balos are within striking distance. The drive to Balos is on a hairy single track road with no edges for 7 km and the car park is at the top of the mountain with a 2km walk down steep hillside and steps so if you are not great with heights or have mobility issues I'd strongly suggest a boat trip would be preferred! My husband loved the road and hike - each to their own!

We felt that there were two minor things that could be improved. Firstly, a small supply of condiments would be helpful - salt, pepper, olive oil. Secondly, a warning that the front door self locks so make sure you take your key when visiting the pool or open the internal door window so you can reach in to open the door.

La posizione è strategica per raggiungere le spiagge di Elafonisi, Falassarna e Balos. La casa è molto carina e tranquilla. Consigliamo tuttavia al proprietario di trovare una soluzione per oscurare meglio le stanze, sostituire i materassi (troppo duri) e cambiare il divano e la poltrona-letto che, seppur in perfetto stile con la casa, non sono idonei al riposo notturno. Ci complimentiamo con il proprietario per il gradito cesto di benvenuto e la disponibilità dimostrataci.

A really lovely villa with a beautiful pool. It has a wonderful view and is very relaxing. It is situated in a small village without shops or taverna and a car is essential to get anywhere, including the nearest beach , which although only 3kms away is not walkable.

My wife and I had a fantastic week staying at Villa Romantic Sevi! The villa is superb! It has everything you need inside. The outdoor pool area is stunning. The views incredible!

Traditional stone built, stays cool (especially downstairs) even in hot weather, good sized private pool, and splendid views.

Belle villa, bien située pour explorer l'ouest de la Crète. Le village en lui même présente peu d'intérêt. Villa très propre. Parking et accès à la villa partagée avec une seconde villa plus grande

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr empfehlenswert. Es ist sehr sauber,die Klimaanlage funktioniert tadellos. Der Pool ist klasse und wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Die Vermieterin ist äußerst hilfsbereit und spricht auch gut Englisch.
In der Nähe gibt es 3 ordentliche Restaurants. Wir waren mit dem Strand nicht so glücklich. Aber das ist sicher eine Frage des Geschmacks.

First time in any villa have always stayed in hotels before. This was an amazing experience a beautiful place and accommodation would love to visit again

La maison est splendide, située dans une belle region. L'accueil et la disponibilité de Mr Xeiladakis ont été vraiment appréciés pendant tout notre séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Fantastisk sted. Ligger lidt udenfor 'lands lov og ret', men det opvejes i høj grad af hus, pool, terrasse og have. Med et solidt indkøb fra supermarkedet (3 km) behøver man faktisk ikke fjerne sig fra huset hele ferien. Det gjorde vi dog alligevel.. Det viser sig, at utallige dejlige steder, strande (Elafonissi og Fallassarna), byer (Chania, Rethymnon og Kissamos), vandreture (Samaria og Imbros kløfterne) ligger inden for absolut overskuelig rækkevidde. Alt i alt - en superferie på en fantastisk ø.

As a single traveller I found an excellent deals for an off-season stay and caouldn't miss it. Really high value for money and high quality property. Really glad I visited Crete, will be back again soon, maybe in the summer!

We just had a great holiday! The photos don't do justice to the place, and the views are to die for. Had fantastic weather, with lot of sunbathing and refreshing dips in the pool. Villa spottlessy clean and also mid-week cleanings were provided. Thanks!

Nice villa perfect for our small family, with the bonus of a private pool and fantastic views. The owner was helpful in solving small issues upon arrival (we got lost on our way to the villa!) and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. Hope to come back soon!
