Villa Lucy

Paradise on earth. A beautiful spotless Villa that is so well looked after and clearly a labour of love from the owners. Every little detail throughout had been well considered, all items are to the highest standard.
Water tap by the kitchen sink and on the fridge has filtered water. Window blind in bedrooms operated by the Somfy remote.
The villa offers amazing privacy. Situated on a hilltop location overlooking the beautiful valley and sea of Crete. Breathtaking.
Mike and Lucy are extremely kind, going out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We found the house stocked with all the basics and a very well equipped kitchen.
A welcome note with basic instructions and a guide to western coast is available.
Perfect location to explore Crete: Platanias with sandy beach, shops, supermarket, restaurants, bakery etc 5 min drive, Chania 15 min drive.

The place is amazing with great views of both sea and mountains, with all the possible comforts.
Lucy and Mike are very special guests. We really enjoyed the two weeks spent there.

A fabulous late-October stay - genuinely can't find fault! Wonderful views, deep sleeps and comfort inside and out. Great location - offers a sense of calm isolation, but within easy reach of amenities in Platanias and the many delights of Western Crete, which we selected from the owners' excellent guide. Loved the local Taverna a short walk up the lane. Would return in a heartbeat!

Great experience overall. Five stars. The villa and the property around are stunningly beautiful. Plus and this is a very important plus the owner Michael is a kind, helpful and pleasant person ready to resolve any issue if necessary. Spacious rooms and bedrooms each with views of surrounding mountains and valleys, modern and elegantly decorated with light colors and simple items, beautiful terrace with both a dining table and a coffee table, small and nicely shaped pool, many flowers , plants all around, olive trees few of them with a spot light that are a pleasure to watch at night. All showing a very high standard indeed. Small items to improve: pool towels were not of the same standard as the rest of the villa. Some kitchenware (ex. pans) was not found super clean, in a very beautiful kitchen that indeed is full of useful and modern appliances. Finally one suggestion to Michael: if there were a way to open the gate at the bottom of the steep driveway it would avoid stopping in front of it while climbing up by car, and secondly an automatic gate closing when leaving the property would also avoid stopping each time you exit. Final comment: such a beautiful experience that we already miss it.

The owner of the Villa Michael and his wife were very welcoming and supportive. The Villa is well equipped. We were a family of 8 and it is perfect. Enough privacy and the rooms are lovely. The decorations are beautiful the garden is amazing. The Villa is on top of the hill surrounded by nature and with a view to the distant sea. Nice pool to hang around. We could say that it is better than the pictures
